Wine Pull Fundraiser information and registration
Wine Pull Date – Sunday, Sept. 19 from 9am – 1pm at the Champs Farmer’s Market located in the Princeton Plaza parking lot on Blossom Hill at Meridian in San Jose
Pull a cork and win a bottle of wine plus a commemorative 2021 wine glass! This fundraising event will help support local San Jose area charities and student scholarship. A special thank you to Martin Ranch and Rombauer for their wine donations. These are only a couple of examples of wines that will be available for the wine pull.
WHEN: The Almaden Valley Women’s Club invites you to participate in a Wine Pull on Sunday, Sept. 19 from 9am – 1pm. Registration is open now and wine will be awarded during the Farmer’s Market.
WHY? Due to the Pandemic, we unfortunately had to cancel our annual fundraiser – the Almaden Art & Wine Festival. This event – produced entirely by volunteers – helps to fund multiple organizations throughout the San Jose area as well as scholarships for graduating seniors. Organizations that have benefited in the past from our event include Gifts for Teens, Days for Girls, Almaden Valley Counseling Services, Nextdoor Solutions among many others. Our past donations have made a difference for many non-profit organizations who count on us to help with their annual budgets.

• For a minimum donation of $30 or $35, participants will receive a chance to pull a cork and win a bottle of wine plus one or two commemorative wine glasses ($30 minimum – for one bottle of wine and one glass; $35 minimum for one bottle of wine and two glasses). Any donation above $35 will receive 2 of our commemorative wine glasses.
• Each cork will be numbered and matched with a wine bottle. Wines are valued from $20 - $60.
• The wine pull takes place on Sunday, Sept. 19. Participants need not be present to win. Our members will be happy to pull a cork for you!
In the end, each participant will receive:
• A bottle of wine
• A limited edition 2021Community Event series commemorative wine glass (or two)
